A little about our newest salon....
Where is the salon located?
The new Sun Kissed Tanning Spa will be located at 299 Rt. 22 East, Green Brook, NJ in the Colonial Square Shopping Center (Perkins/Harmon). The salon that is currently there, Tropical Tan, has been offering tanning services for over 30 years. The most recent owner of 6 years decided to close the salon and sell off his equipment which left us an opportunity to jump in there, renovate, and install all of our own equipment. This all happened suddenly in the past week.
When will the new Sun Kissed Tanning Spa open?
Currently, we are shooting for an August 3, 2013 opening. On July 1, we will begin renovation to bring our new customers the look and feel of Sun Kissed. Everything will be redone and it will then be tied for the cleanest salon in NJ! :)
Can I use services at both locations?
Yes. All packages, including UV tanning, spray tanning, and Sudatonic Body Wraps will be interchangeable between salons. The computer system will be linked so all you have to do is what you normally do, just give you name!
What services will be offered in Green Brook?
Both salons will offer the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum level beds with Platinum being full high pressure units. Green Brook will also have the professional airbrush spray tans, Sudatonic Body Wraps, and will continue to offer the best products available! We are also looking into offering Red Light Therapy by our opening and even
better things to come down the line. But that's a secret for now. For more information on Red Light Therapy, keep an eye on our

What happens to the current customers of Tropical Tan?
Unfortunately, the owner of Tropical Tan pulled a "Hollywood Tans" on his customers. Anyone from South Plainfield knows what we mean. Many customers recently bought a ton of sessions (some over 100) for little money and they will never be able to use those sessions at Tropical Tan. They continued to sell those outrageous packages over the past couple days even though their lease was up on June 30th and we urged them not to. We will do what we can to help the previous customers but it is important to understand that we did not purchase Tropical Tan. He moved his business out along with his equipment and we jumped on the opportunity to sign a lease and open a second location. Any Tropical Tan customers who will be inconvenienced by the sudden closing of Tropical, we invite you to visit our South Plainfield location until renovation in Green Brook is complete.
